The following game mechanics concern the interaction between characters and guidelines for taking on a character’s perspective (“attitudes”).

Each character will approach their official tasks and secret or private goals differently depending on their personality and background. This is expressed in Attitudes, such as adversarial, assertive, cautious, optimistic, or restrained. Consider these Attitudes the general mood of a character, at least at the beginning of play. Events and actions during play may cause a shift away from an Attitude or intensify it. There is no need to make adjustments to a character sheet; play with the flow.
